sport CM Resita team of Hill Speed Climbing on the first place at "Ludovic Balint Memorial"


After the first stages that took place at Brasov the pilots from Resita confirm the results obtained in 2006

At the end of the last week, in Brasov took place the first two stages of the National Championship of Hill Speed Climbing joint under the name of "Ludovic Balint Memorial". The pilots from UCM Resita had an excellent behavior succeeding to obtain praiseworthy results in both stages held on Friday, 13 and Sunday, 15 of April.

Lucien Hora get two victories in the General Classification (Open) at Group H and H4 Class, Eugen Peteanu with a VW Golf III kit car won at Group A at both stages, Mircea Padurean with a Mitsubishi EVO VI won in front of his competitors at the Group N in the first stage and get the III-rd position in the second stage. On Sunday, at the Beginner Class, another pilot from UCM Resita, Claudiu Ciuca, succeeded to get an unexpected first place at his first presence in the National Championship of Hill Speed Climbing, after the second position on which he was classified on Friday following his companion Christian Nistoran.

In the General Team Classification, UCM Resita was placed on the First Place. In Speed Hill Climbing Contest - Brasov 2007, the title of "King of the Hill - the best time of both stages" was obtained by Lucien Hora, that is 2 min. 38 sec. 854 s.

In the following period, the pilots from UCM Resita team will make ready their competition equipment, in their endeavor to repeat the results obtained in Brasov.
